SERVICES

What it involves, and how it runs.

Below is everything I do and exactly what's included in each. What it costs depends on what you actually need — a five-page site for a service business and a twenty-page store are not the same job, and quoting a number before I understand yours would be guesswork.

Tell me what you're building and you'll get a fixed price in writing after a short conversation. That's the number on the invoice.

01

Website Design & Development

On enquiry

A complete website built around your business rather than around a template. We agree what each page has to do, then I design it and code it — structure, visuals, responsive behavior and the technical foundation, all handled in one place by one person.

INCLUDED

  • Site structure and page planning — so visitors find what they came for
  • Custom visual direction — a look that belongs to you, not to a theme
  • Responsive design — checked at the sizes people actually use
  • Hand-built front-end — no page-builder bloat slowing it down
  • Content hierarchy — the things that matter read first
  • Accessibility-conscious markup — usable with a keyboard and a screen reader
  • Performance-focused build — fast on a mid-range phone over patchy 4G
  • On-page SEO foundations and metadata
  • Launch, handover and a walkthrough

Right for you if you need the whole thing done properly, once, and you'd rather not manage three freelancers to get it.

E-Commerce Design & Development

On enquiry

A store that makes buying feel simple. Products presented well, categories that make sense to a customer rather than to a spreadsheet, and a checkout nobody hesitates at. Built to stay fast as the catalog grows.

INCLUDED

  • Store structure and product discovery — people find things without using search
  • Product and collection page design
  • Cart and checkout interface — the fewest steps the platform allows
  • Payment and platform integration
  • Mobile-first refinement — most of your traffic is on a phone, so that's where I start
  • Trust details — shipping, returns, stock and reviews, where people look for them
  • Room to grow — adding a category later shouldn't mean a rebuild
  • Launch and handover

Right for you if you sell something you're proud of and the store doesn't currently do it justice.

Landing Pages & Campaign Experiences

On enquiry

One page with one job. Built for a service, a launch or a paid campaign, where the structure has to do the persuading and every section earns its place. Written to be scanned, designed to be read, built to load before anyone gives up.

INCLUDED

  • Offer positioning — what's being promised, and to whom
  • Page structure built around the decision, not around a feature list
  • Responsive design
  • One clear call to action, repeated where it’s genuinely needed
  • Lead capture and form handling, tested end to end
  • Analytics and conversion tracking
  • Fast deployment — usually live inside ten days

Right for you if you're running ads, launching something, or pushing one service and sending that traffic to a homepage isn't working.

Website Redesign & Modernization

On enquiry

Your website works. It just looks like it was built a while ago, because it was. A redesign updates the visual language, tightens navigation, rebuilds the mobile experience and reorders the pages so the site reads the way the business actually is now.

INCLUDED

  • A review of your current site and two or three competitors, written up plainly
  • Reworked navigation and page hierarchy
  • New visual direction
  • Mobile experience rebuilt properly, not squeezed down from desktop
  • Stronger, clearer calls to action
  • Technical cleanup and a significantly faster load
  • Careful migration — redirects mapped so you keep the rankings you’ve earned

Right for you if the site no longer reflects the standard of the work behind it, and you've started apologizing before you send the link.

Performance, SEO & Optimization

On enquiry

For sites that are fundamentally sound but slow, awkward on a phone, or invisible in search. I work through the build, fix what’s holding it back, and hand you something that loads quickly and can be read properly by search engines.

INCLUDED

  • Image and asset optimization — usually the single biggest win
  • Core Web Vitals — loading, layout shift and responsiveness
  • Mobile usability pass on real devices rather than a browser simulator
  • Technical SEO foundations — titles, headings, schema, sitemap, indexing
  • Metadata and internal linking
  • Accessibility fixes
  • A short written report of what changed, what it did, and what I'd do next

Right for you if the site is already live and needs to work harder without starting again.

Every project is quoted on its own terms.

I don't publish prices, because a number without a conversation is a guess. What a build costs comes down to how many pages there are, whether you're selling, how much of the content already exists, and how much of it I'm creating from scratch.

Every project includes

Custom design with no template underneath · responsive across phone, tablet and desktop · motion and interaction · contact page and legal pages · on-page SEO and metadata · speed optimization · launch, handover and a walkthrough

Tell me what you're building and roughly what you're working with. You'll get a fixed price in writing before any design work starts, and I don't bill by the hour.

What moves the number

  • 01

    Scale

How many pages, and how many of them are genuinely different from each other.

  • 02

    Selling

A store carries product, cart and checkout work a brochure site never touches.

  • 03

    Content

Whether copy, photography and brand assets exist already, or need creating.

  • 04

    Editing

Whether you need to change text, images and prices yourself after launch.

  • 05

    Timeline

A normal schedule costs less than one that has to move around other people.

The boring things, said upfront.

  • 50% to start, 50% before launch. No hourly billing, no surprise invoices.

  • Two rounds of design revisions included. Small tweaks during the build aren't counted or charged.

  • You own everything. Files, code, domain, accounts. Nothing is held hostage.

  • No mandatory monthly fee. Hosting is yours and typically costs a few dollars a month. Ongoing support is optional.

  • One project at a time, mostly. It's why the work is consistent and why the calendar has a booking date on it.

Worth being upfront about.

This works well if

  • You're a small or mid-sized business, a service provider, a product brand or an independent founder
  • Your current website is dated, unclear, or was never really finished
  • You care how the business is perceived, and you're prepared to spend accordingly
  • You can give feedback within a day or two rather than a week

It probably isn't a fit if

  • You need it live next week
  • You're choosing purely on price
  • You want an ongoing marketing team — I build websites, I'm not an agency
  • The decision has to pass through six people who haven't been part of the conversation

FAQ

Questions people actually ask.

01What does a website cost?

It depends on what you need, which is why there is no price list here. Size moves it more than anything else — a five-page site for a service business and a twenty-page store aren’t the same job. Tell me what you’re building and you’ll get one fixed price in writing before any design work begins.

02Why is this less than an agency would charge?

Because there's no agency behind it. No account manager, no project manager, no office, no margin stacked on top of a subcontractor. You're paying for the hours of one person who does both jobs, which removes most of what makes agency pricing what it is.

03How long does it take?

Seven to ten days for a full website, three to four for a landing page, measured from the day scope is approved. The main thing that stretches a timeline is feedback sitting unanswered, so I'll tell you in advance exactly when I need a decision.

04What do you need from me to get started?

A conversation, and whatever you already have — logo files, photography, existing copy, a competitor whose site you like. If you don't have those yet, that's fine; we'll work out what's needed during scoping.

05How many revisions do I get?

Two rounds at the design stage, which is where changes are cheap and useful. Small tweaks during the build aren't counted. If the direction changes completely after sign-off, we'll talk about it before I start rather than after.

06Who actually does the work?

Me. I don't outsource design or development and I don't subcontract. If you message on a Tuesday afternoon, you're messaging the person who was building your site that morning.

07Can I update the site myself afterwards?

Yes, and I'd prefer you could. With content management added, text, images, prices and products can all be changed without touching code, and I'll walk you through it at handover.

08Are there monthly fees?

Not to me. Hosting and a domain are yours and usually run a few dollars a month. If you want me on hand for updates there's an optional care plan, but nothing stops working if you don't take it.

09Will a redesign damage my search rankings?

Not if it's handled carefully. Old URLs get mapped to new ones with proper redirects, headings and metadata are carried over deliberately, and the new site is usually faster — which helps rather than hurts. It's one of the most common ways a redesign goes wrong, so it's planned for from the start.

10Do you write the content?

I'll structure it, edit it and tell you honestly when something isn't working. Full copywriting is a separate line on the quote, and I'd rather say that upfront than quietly leave you filling in empty boxes at the end.

11What happens after launch?

You own everything. I'm around for questions, and I can handle updates or additions if you want that — but nothing is locked to me.

12Do you work with clients in other time zones?

Yes, most of my work is with businesses in the US and the UK. I keep overlapping hours, reply within one working day, and I'm on WhatsApp, which handles a time difference better than a slow email thread.

Tell me what you're building.

Two paragraphs is enough. I'll come back with a straight answer on cost and timing.
